Bishop Blasts Democrat Platform
Catholic Bishop Thomas John Paprocki of Springfield, Illinois, is making headlines for blasting the Democrat's embrace of abortion-on-demand and same-sex marriage. In a recent column, Bishop Paprocki warned the faithful that the Democrat platform's statements of support for abortion and same-sex marriage "explicitly endorse intrinsic evils."
He added, "I have read the Republican Party Platform and there is nothing in it that supports or promotes an intrinsic evil or serious sin." You can read his column here.
