What are the implications of this? Is there and how much of a relationship is there to the current state heath care exchange battle going on in the legislature right now? Read the following story I received from a constituent and decide for yourself.
"On the evening of January 26th, I went to my local emergency room in Sand Point. I went because I had been in a car accident. When the Nurse came in to ask questions, it took almost 10 minutes for all of the questions and I was asked, ‘Do you have any weapons on you?’ ‘Do you have any weapons at home?’ When I asked why so many questions were being asked, the nurse stated that they were building a database. I did not sign a HIPPA privacy Act paper as they said they are no longer needed because everything will be shared data now.” Stay tuned for Part 2.
